Bethlehem Heritage Society - View Bethlehem's Past Changing Displays

About Us

Our Society was formed in 1997 and today we have over 200 members.  We are located in a completely restored former Bethlehem restaurant that has been turned into a beautiful museum of Bethlehem artifacts and history.

Visit us and return to the glory days of Bethlehem being the home of over thirty hotels and the destination of vacationers from the world over.  See the days when railroads brought visitors into town daily.  Look at pictures of every hotel, view pieces of hotel china, silverware, glass, and menus from these hotel and cottages.  See military memorabilia from Bethlehem veterans.  Study Frances Glessner Lee's "Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Deaths".  These are miniature crime scenes crafted in wood by craftsman, Alton Mosher.

Bethlehem has a rich history of a summer Jewish community, and displays at the center, provide information about this with articles and memorabilia.

We are constantly adding to our genealogy records and for a small fee, our historian, Paul Hudson will look up and send out family information that is requested.

Purchase books, postcards, or other mementos of Bethlehem.

We are a non profit organization; donations are always welcome.
